Combine Harvester R&D Engineer

A. Job description

1. Lead the research and development of new products for combine harvesters, including conceptual design, detailed design, and prototype development.

2. Conduct in-depth research on market demand and industry trends, and provide forward-looking technical suggestions and solutions for product development.

3. Work closely with cross functional teams (such as engineering, manufacturing, procurement, quality control, etc.) to ensure a smooth transition of products from design to production.

4. Responsible for the selection, design calculation, and performance testing of combine harvester components, optimizing product structure and performance.

5. Develop and execute product development plans to control project progress, quality, and cost.

6. Solve technical issues that arise during product development, testing, and use, and continuously improve the product.

B. Job requirements

1. Bachelor's degree or above, major in mechanical engineering, agricultural machinery, or similar fields.

2. Have more than 5 years of experience in tractor product development, familiar with the structure, principles, and performance of tractors.

3. Proficient in CAD, CAE and other design software, with good mechanical design skills.

4. Familiar with agricultural machinery industry standards and regulations, and understand the development trends of tractor technology at home and abroad.

5. Possess innovative thinking and the ability to solve complex problems, and be able to independently undertake product development projects.

6. Possess good teamwork spirit and communication skills, able to effectively coordinate resources from all parties.

7. Priority is given to engineers with experience in combine harvester manufacturers of globally renowned brands. Especially engineers with experience in developing corn harvesters and forage harvesters. 

8. Language proficiency requirement: One of the following three must be met:

1) TOEFL : score of 80 or above;

2) IELTS : a score of 6.0 points or more, especially in reading and writing better.

3) College English Test Band 6 (CET-6) : the score is 425 or above.

In addition, you should have good professional English literacy, be able to read and understand English technical literature and standards, accurately write English technical reports and emails, and be able to fluently communicate in oral English to participate in international conferences and communicate with foreign counterparts  or clients.
